Why when the French attack do they have a big American flag in the bottom right of the screen? [&:]

Because there is one icon for the Allies (predominantly Americans) and one for the Japanese. Its still a lot like WitP (interface wise), but the big star has been replaced by a flag.

Keep in mind, while several nations are represented, the US is the main player for the Allies in WPO.

Any chance of getting rid of that horrible tiled brown background and replacing it something that makes the text easier to read. And when you do replace it, could you make it look that it's not so tiled.

I love your wording "Any chance of replacing, and when you do...." [:D] You are actually the first person to complain about it. But still, The interface is being slightly redone (not by me), so frankly as of this minute you have as much an idea as how it looks as I do. Still, Ill post some screenies when I get the final version from Matrix.

Maybe I had an inkling that Matrix would want to change the interface art before release. [;)]

For, WitP, I made versions of the screens, where the nationality symbols, (the starts and meatballs), were removed, for the reasons you mentioned in your prior post, so its pretty easy to do. (if I can do it) [:)]

I like the wood stuff. I am basically tired of the metal schemes, that all WWII games (not just WitP), seem to insist upon.

Also, I know we have discussed this before, but these sims (UV, WitP, and WPO), are simply incredible, and with that in mind, why can't Matrix take time to fix up the save screens so that they make sense. And, (this is just a pet peeve of mine), I wish they would also change the locations of the exit buttons on some of the screens, in particular, the data screens.

Matrix needs hire or use as beta tester some old fartty like me who now needs reading glasses and has trouble with certain print...

The WITP alt text option helped a bit but
theres some things that should be done and
more readable text would be welcome.

Noise? What Noise? It's sooooo quiet and Peaceful!
