Bugs?

When I loaded a saved game, the sound and music were back on even though all the sliders were still set to off. I moved the sliders as a test, but they had no effect whatsover. The sliders moved but it didn't change any of the sound at all. Also in the same saved game, my starships started using artifacts on their own even though the 'manually use artifacts' setting was selected, and still showed as selected on the settings screen.
