Allied opponent: apply within

Post by j campbell »

Hello all. Well, I think i have read enough on the forums and practiced enough on the AI to move onto bigger and better challenges-PBEM is much more intense than against the AI.
That being said I am looking for someone to play the alles in a full campaign or other scenario.

I hate to have to implement any house rules but based on findings throughout the forums i would suggest the following which are open to negotiation:

- British CV, CVL, CVE or BB can’t occupy this same hex with USA CV, CVL, CVE or BB.

- British land units (Southeast Asia Command - SAC) don’t occupy the same hex with USA units, except when US units are subordinate to SAC.

- Chinesse land units must change HQ to Southeast Asia if they want move to Burma.

- No aircraft training on empty bases.

- Aircraft night attacks are limited to city attack and naval attack.

- Dutch land and air units can’t become evacuated outside bases in Dutch Indies.

- No allied navy commando attack (including submarine transport) or paradrop attack on empty Siam factories in December 1941.

- Japanese units which move from Manchukuo (kwangtung HQ units/china hq units) - china or vice versa need to reassign HQ (pay PP) to do so. I do think that Japan should be able to
reinforce with new div from the homeland though- i would imagine that it would be of benefit ( not necessarily mandatory) to change hq to china hq in this case.

- limit aircraft to 50 per AF size might be useful as well.

- what to do about respawning chinese units in india?

I would prefer to do a non historical opening turn but would not make moves on any bases outside the phillipines/ malaya with the TF move rate bonus. Production on, sub doctrines off, reinforcements variable or fixed, allied dam control on

I can usually make 1 move per day and more on weekends but there will be some days where i will be unable to make a move due to work and household restraints :(

This is a version 1.77 Beta game as well.

ps. I tried to be as comprehensive as i could but if i left anything out please let me know.

thanks for your interest.

I would also like to try a PBEM game as allies.Your House rules sound fine. I assume Pearl Harbor Surprise. I would suggest if you are doing non-historical first move, turn off surprise but leave battle wagons in Pearl. Let me know if you would like to pursue game.
