Help! online games dont save

Post by heintz28 »

I've upgraded to spwaw7.0 and so has my opponent.
We are now experiencing toruble saving the game during online play.
both of us has verified that the game saves & re-loads correctly in solitary play.
in online play the save screen repeatedly comes up
after a player does a save. when we try to reload
the game states that "player does not have that saved game". (or something similar)

we also noticed that by reloading with the online autosave slot selected the game reloads correctly.

Anybody seeing this behavior?
Maybe we have corrupted downloads or installs?

we have also verified this behavior with a third player in online gaming.

please help... thanks

Yeah, that happened to me too. I then uninstalled the game completly and reinstalled it again going poatch by patch to get the V7 again from zero. After this all is working fine by now. Also remember always to save between turns since the autosave feature works like crapp, dont rely on it. A lot of weird stuff happends when relying in the autosave game.

ho, i forgot to mention that i also copied all oob´s from V6.1 and overwritted with them the ones in V7 before playing online again, so maybe the oob´s have something to do with the problem but i really doubt it. Just uninstall and reinstall and tell me what happends.

I have not experience this difficulty on-line.

It must be something with your install. I have played perhaps 12-15 battles online with V7. No problems.

You both must have the same OOBs or there will be trouble in paradise. ;-) Same version of the game, also.

Thanks for the info...
I'm glad it is just a bad installation and not
a game problem.

I will follow the above advice and pass it on to friends

thanks again... I can always count on a quick

One thing I did note during testing 7th Online: Host were forced to send savegame each time we before we started. Joiner had to send once his OOBs. I don't know why this did happen but game worked fine like this.

(and remember to send your custom map before starting)

mosh
salute

mosh

If its not rotten, shoot again

When player one saves, he must not move or shoot until player two has also saved.
