Medium Battle in a Generated Campaign

In a generated campaign I noticed the button 'Medium Battle' along with the Mission, View Map, and Encyclopedia buttons. What is Medium Battle? It's not mentioned in the manual.

There are three levels and they effect the troop strenght. Medium is average, however expect at least double your troop strenght in a Hard Battle. Don't send green troops into that. Hard makes some interesting Delays or Defense scenarios, just be realistic with your mines, or you'll be bored. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
