saves don't load on network

Hi all:
I've been complaining incessantly about the inability to run saves on my laptop. I finally got my network setup and copied the save across the network. It still won't run! Both computers are running the same version of the game, ver. 1.21. Both computers will run the game seperately. My laptop would run saves off my old computer, a 32 bit machine. WinXP pro on all machines.
Any ideas?
