Dutch navy ambushed at brunei, Royal navy comes to the rescue.

After having conquerred the Phillipines the japanese empire apperantly hasnt satisfied its hunger for blood yet. Now taking an eye on Borneo and possibly even Malaya. This is what seems after their cowardly torpedo action last night at brunei. The dutch colonial fleet ancored there after a yearly exercise was ambushed when the town was asleep. Luckily only minor damage was done, De Ruyter and Jacob Van Heemskerk where each struck by a single torpedo.
A brithish cruiser squadron based around glorious and courageous saw the fires in the distance and decided to close in. after having found the japanese they opened fire and 15inch shells hit a lost cruiser, presumably Abukama several times. Our brave fleet disengaged for refueling and the crippled cruiser was last seen ablaze and listing heavily to the stern.
Several hours after these events The British, Dutch and French have decided to take action and remove the japanese threat once and for all.

Further activity.
- A japanese submarine surfaced near Hong Kong and bombarded the shore with her deck gun. Royal navy ships attacked and drove her off.
- Dutch and British submarines fought a cat and mouse game with japanese destroyers. No hits for either side.

First time someone make an AAR of a game I'm playing!!
Currently I've no time to write a parallel AAR (like many others are doing), btw I can say I like very much the newspaper format you're using, even if it's an allied way to spread its false propaganda! [;)]

Just a small suggestion, if you can host some pictures and attach them here they will make the newspaper even better!

BTW tell me if you decide to write here about your intentions/plans, I'll stop reading!
