This is not OT honestly. The HTML on this forum is a pain to use as it keeps dropping you back to the start of the piece when you enter stuff. Simple copied CR text annoys me as it forces you to read to find the significant moments. I much prefer to highlight in colour. hence it would be really good to write the whole thing elsewhere then drop it in by copy/paste. I haven't yet found an HTML editor that will let me do that with this forum. Any advice?

Actually, the text that people post here isn't strictly HTML. As for the rest, I'm not going to get into an argument about opinions on how to post here.
