problems loading troops

Hello everyone, just purchased this game.

I have however a 'problem' loading dutch troops on AP's which
have enough load capacity. I presume it has something
to do with restricted command. But can't find much help in
the manual about this. Also I wanted to evacuate US troops
with dutch APs but this didn't seem to work either.

Can troops only load onto transports of the same nationality ?

Troops can be loaded onto transports regardless of nationality. Dutch Troops and US Troops in the far East are in restricted commands, and Political Points must be spent to change them to non restricted. If you want to move them, change them From Dutch East Indes and USAFFE to SouthWest Pacific, and then they can be loaded.
