I just bought this game and I downloaded the Leman database 5.2 but it still says it wont recognize? I know what I am doing with zip files but it doesnt seem to work?

Your zip program may have unzipped them into their own folder (mine does as a default) so you may check and see, I moved it out of its 'directory' and put it the main Pure Sim folder and no problemo!

I'm having the same problem. I keep getting an "unrecognized database" error.

One suggestion I would have is make sure that the database is the right file format (should be Acess 2000 version)- I mention this because some sims use different file formats of the Lahman database.

Secondy, as has already been said- once the file is unzipped make sure you put it in the root folder of Puresim. It should be located in C:\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2005 Gold Edition by default. Hopefully that helps you out!
