NEW CD Cover for SPWAW!!

Ok, if anyone knows WHO I could contact from this site, please let me know, I would like to provide this to anyone who wants it. As nice as the artwork is that is provided in the downloads page for CD art, it contains a lot of BLACK, which is costly in the ink dept.

I have created a cover that is more ink-friendly, and of course, has a different style to it. If you would like to see a sample (lower resolution) on line, here's the link:

I hope this is taken as a compliment or tribute to the game, and not by any means an attempt of copyright violation in regards to Matrix Games.

They are nicely down dude.

I personally think there is waaaaaaaay to much favouritism to having a German theme/subject/slant in my opinion. So its always nice to see something new.

And no I dont have any bias against the swastikas/nazis etc. Its history nothing more.
Only a complete dolt thinks the nazis were anything but racist swine.

But it does tend to get tedious seeing WW2 always potrayed as something requiring German imagery. So what if it was their fault Europe saw all the misery it did (that was a blanket condemnation of Nazis not german people).

And yes I know the game is called Steel "Panthers" as opposed to something like Iron Churchills or T-34 Hordes or Armoured Shermans.

Still, I think the name is an invalid reason for always defaulting to German imagery eh.

Wow, there was actually NO preconcieved ideas about GERMAN or AMERICAN images. I just looked for any TANK picture I could find fast on the web, along with any maps of Europe & soldiers... I'm certainly not making any political statement, rather just trying to make a cool cover w/ less BLACK INK required.

Sniper-for-hire: I also think you did an excellent job on the cover and I see it for what its worth....a very good job.

The front page is very very nice !
Congratulations !
Keeping a white background is a very good idea for printers economy !
The picture is nice and big , fonts are cool ! simply and elegant
About the subject : as usual a collection of pictures mixing alle the main nations will make everyone happpier..the general principle should be to reprensent always at least two sides facing indirectly each other only for summarizing what the subject talks about .
I too always hope pictures are not in any way to be politicized..I always hope such games to be free from ANY particular propaganda.

Do you mind if I use that at Steel Panthers Fans, to replace the one at the Main page now? We have to change the presentation once in a while <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Absolutely! I want this available to anyone who would appreciate it! Thanks! I'll check out the site too, and let me know if any other kind of graphic work for SP would be enjoyed, such as banners or something.

Sniper for Hire: You mentioned you were going to 300 for better quality, I used your originals to Photo Deluxe 2.0 and printed on and with Photo Printer, you'd swear they were photographs. You don't have to improve them guy they're GREEAAATT as is.
