AB map PBEM problem

I've finally rounded up an opponent.
When he tries to start the PBEM SOPAC Campaign scenario, it asks for his password.
After that it goes to the save menu?
It seems that the game won't open.
Any ideas?

PS: We just finished the AB's Coral Sea scenario, and didn't have any problems.
I tried starting it on my setup and it opened up.

Is he missing something?
AB map, AB scenarios, 1.795b.

If he is trying to start and it does not let him make any moves, then he has historical first turn ON. Tell him to turn if off and then start a new game.

He checked his settings and both the historical and Dec 7 toggles are off.
His game still won't load a PBEM IJN start.

Mine loads a PBEM start fine.
Guess I'll play the IJN in this one.[:D]

Any more ideas why his game won't let him start a PBEM as the Japanese?[&:]
