Alright, what is this Panzer Command in the Coming Soon section? Hmmm? It's got your label on it? [;)]

Please ... spill the beans!

I think that was a mistake. It's no longer on that page.

Hm, not sure who did that, but I don't think it will be much longer before you get an answer to that question. [8D]

Nice. This might be interesting(if true...). Quite a chronological jump, but a good one.

I humbly request Napoleonics in the future, though(with a scenario editor!!)!

With this engine these guys could make just about anything. I'd really like to see them get a "retail" shot for at least one of their games. Put some of those screenies on the back of the box of those highly detailed minatures and it's just gotta sell. [:D]
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

This is an excellent engine however please get rid of the useless card system you use in your games. I want to play a wargame and not a card game. Sorry but that is the reason I didnt buy any of your games I would have otherwise. Just my opinion, I think the games look excellent and I did download TS:ATG demo and I liked it until I seen the card system.

Just a suggestion thanks for listening

sabre,

The card system isn't necessary to win and I believe the AI doesn't even use them. Most of the time, I don't even bother with the cards, or more honestly forget I even have them.

WW2, didn't see that coming. Already have CMBO, CMBB, CMAK for that. [>:]

Cards I like for the added random effects.

They need to make money and WW2 sells.

Well, the cards actually do play an important part in the game.

First: choice. Cards are a choice that the player can use during the game, during the order of battle screen, etc. If you ignore the cards, that's fine. You probably are spending your plunder on reinforcements and training. Instead, you can buy cards that can provide that single last push.

Second: strategy. Many players like to use overwhelming force. Others like the be smart and hold forces in reserve. Often, the cards supplement the overall strategy you are trying to achieve and make in-game adjustments instead of starting over. For example, using a health card on a unit that is running for an objective can make a big difference.

Third, no the AI doesn't use cards. It is something for the player to enjoy.

Hmm.. very late to this thread, but I'd like to comment on that, perhaps for the benefit of those who come in even later.

TS are not "card games", or anything like it. The impact of the cards is small, but not "useless" by any means; all they do is give you the option of a slight "edge" on rare occasion when you need it. I don't even find that "unrealistic" as such - how many battles have been decided by a commander boosting morale at a particular pivotal point for example? The only reason this was implemented as "cards" at all, I suspect, is that it fits in with the tabletop theme, and many cardboard/counter (if not miniatures) wargames use cards in exactly the same way. Many computer games use the same thing in different forms.

I strongly suggest you buy the games, as the cards are no reason not to. Even if you hate them, you don't have to "buy" them or use them if you don't want to - you are not even disadvantaged as, as had been said, neither AI or MP opponents use them either.
