Sunday is the day. A new SPWAW Campaign, "A Deadly Diversion," will be posted at the Wargamer's Scenario Depot.

You will be a Marine commander leading your troops on a diversionary raid to protect the upcoming landings on Bougainville. Your mission, create a lot of havoc and a lot of noise. Stir up the enemy. Then get out of there.

You'll have two campaigns in one. You'll accompany Colonel Brute Krulak and his boys to the south or head north with Major Bigger to attack one of the Japanese main bases.

You can play them both and never repeat a battle. Two campaign authors are involved, Wild Bill and Bruce "Recon" Hodgman. A great team of map makers and testers have put a lot of work into perfecting this presentation.

A special salute to Roland Rahn, Sherman Triplett, Jack Withrow, Massimo Rocca, Joe Osborne, Mark Ezra and Ken Baran.

Its one of the best design teams I ever served with. Check your gear, load up on ammo and get on board. You have a lost of tough fighting ahead of you.
