Cooperative play?

From the screenshots it looks as if only one person can play per team. Is it possible to play cooperatively. EA incomprehensibly took the feature for teammate play out of Madden06 for the pc. I would love to have a football game where I could play cooperatively.

WHAT I MEAN IS:

Playing with 2 ppl controlling a team is stupid
Sharing a keyboard and mouse while playing is hard with 2 ppl, imagine 4 ppl (2players vs 2players).
