Favorite Action /Shooter Games

I'm a big fan of Socom games and especially Socom FTB on teh PSP. Having teh ability to play wherever you go and the choice of all the weapons is great. Some people don't like 3rd person shooters but thats why they have a first person view. WHat's your favorite game?

Difficult question. As much as I would like to vote for my country and Max Payne serie, I don't think that Max is my most favorite. FarCry was great until mutants showed up and with Quake 4 I couldn't stop playing until I had completed it (2 days and god damn headache!). Hitman Codename 47 is definitely in my top 5 but the best... Right, it's impossible for me to name The Best first/third person shooter game. But top games I can name:

Hitman - Codename 47
I just loved Budapest mission and infiltration to drug chief's camp (man took too much bullets but otherwise I loved it)

Quake 4
Simple and fun shooting as long as it lasts, lots of enemies and teammates.

Escape from Butcher Bay
It is license game, but this is about as good one as TIE Fighter and Starfleet Command. And Riddick is übercool [&o]

Chrome
"Poor man's Farcry" reads in one review. I disagree! Maybe becouse this is one of those few games where player character can't take many hits (on hardest difficulty level) and sniper rifles rule! And the thrill of crawling through grass towards occupied sniper tower! Must get sequel Chrome SpecForce!

Halo serie
Best console FPS ever!

Ghost Recon
Enjoyed this on Xbox too. OICW is one of the greatest weapons I have seen in any game!

Operation Flashpoint
Not as fun as other mentioned games, but it got at least some realism, wide open maps and lots of possibilities. Besides this is one of the few choices for serious wargamers who prefer single player games. Still it's silly how player can sometimes alone beat enemy squad on hardest difficulty settings.
