I will need to post a lot more, but right now this is mostly a space taker.

I forgot to put this in earlier; this is a Nik mod 5.02 game with 1.795 played on andrews excellent 5.1 map

I am planning on playing a "non-cheese" game as much as possible. No evacuations from PI, DEI, or Malaya. If I want to spend the PPs for DEI troops to move them to a different DEI base I can, but not moving them to India or Australia. I will take the air units out of the PI when they can not be effective.

Now, waiting for that first turn.

First turn received and my minimal order set input. He has it now, we will see in a bit how bad things look. [8D]

The Arizona sunk and the Pennselvanya is badly damaged( it could still sink )

He invaded Kuantan which is only 4 hexes NE of Singapore, Force Z rides! [:D]

I have most of the shipping in the PI on the move out of town. As per my personal thing, no units are being evaced from the PI. All subs were sent out into attack zones.

A lot of AKs were sent to Perth from India to sail further to the USA WC.

Much more to follow, I need to wait and see where he attacks to see what I will be dong. It is the flee time right now.

It looks like Grraven is leaving PH, KB was spotted just West of FFS heading West. I will believe it in a few days or so. [:)]

Here is the PH damaged ship list. Not too bad, all the fires are out and it looks like Penn will make it( she was 74/90/11 last turn, so +2 SYS, -1 FLT, -11 Fire)



Wow, that came out pretty fuzzy, sorry. ( I tried redoing it, it is not much better ) ( redid it once more and it is better )

Force Z did not fare well, one inconclusive combat and then surprised for one combat. [&:] PoW is fine and is retiring to Batavia with the rest of the survivers. One DD was sunk and one is very badly damaged but is in Singapore port. Repulse is also in bad shape and is 60 miles NE of Singapore. If she makes it and I can dock her, maybe I can save her.

But CL boise did good at Jolo.

That IJN TF moved off one hex, I have CA Houston scheduled to be there tonight while Boise rearms at Tarakan. I am trying to teach him to not send out unescorted invasion TFs.

My air forces in Malaya put a couple of Torps and some bombs into AKs and APs, missed or bounced some from CAs and BBs. ( WHY do air units want to try bombing BBs with 250# bombs? [:@][&:][:(] )

B-17s made some strikes against Baby KB south of Daveo with no hits, but it might have scared him a bit and the AA ammo should be running down, that is two days of B-17 attacks on it.

12/9/41 was another dreary day for the Allies. A few more ships hit, just trying to get out of his way at the moment.

12/10/41 was much of the same. He sunk a couple of ships fleeing from the PI that were going directily to PH.
KB appears to be moving toward Kwajalein and I have moved 2 subs into an intercept possibility.
My PI air units are trashed, no morale and a lot of damaged aircraft. I will be tring to move them
back and then to
australia. He has not invaded any base on Borneo? He has only invaded Kuantan in Mayalya. I wonder
what he is up to?

12/11/41 another day in drearyness. Soon there will be things to report I hope.
Kuantan fell today.
