Balkas, villages and tanks towing guns and doing stuff

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Balkas, villages and tanks towing guns and doing stuff

Post by Andreas1968 »

I would like to recommend to the developers to create some maps with Balkas, and the rather primitive villages found in the area that was fought over. Scheibert's book that I recommend elsewhere contains a number of photos that may help, and I would be happy to provide the odd scan if you do not have access to it - just email me.

Also, Scheibert mentions a Soviet tactic in which tanks pulled ATGs into battle. Unfortunately I did not manage to get that feature included when Beta-testing CMBB, so I'll try again here. German tanks did not do so, but Scheibert describes it as an effective tactic.

Finally, are tanks capable of carrying infantry, and if so, which tanks can carry how many men?

Thanks a lot in advance.

All the best

Andreas
