Again same as 3 and 10

Hi Erik or David,

After installing the new patch, I still get players who are running in the end zone and leaving the field. At this point, I cannot move my player to get the ball on a punt return play. There is no point me playing in the league with this problem. The only way I can get out of this is to hit the Esc key, and then exit the game. Reload the teams in the menu and start the game again. It is a majot hassle to reload the game everytime a computer team punt the ball on 3 and 10. Can you fix this? Thanks.

As for game graphics, I have a very good card and it awesome. I also have lots of RAM and the game runs very smoothly on high settings and nice realistic shadows. [;)]

As for game play where can you practice on the team plays?

When you set the settings from high school level to All Pro, which settings is best for people who are trying to learn the game? It was very frustrating sometimes when my quaterback went 0 comp 32 Att passes and 19 yards of passing in the whole game. The rushing yards for me was 10 carries -34 yards. How can I improve the game play using the game pad?

During my 5th game using CFL rules the computer team was suppose to kick to me during the start of 3rd quater, the computer player froozed and nothing happened. My button 1 had a ring around the player was moving from one player to the next. Then I hit button 2 and the game kind of worked but skipped the kick off and went straight into first and 10 on the 20 yard line. I then missed the whole action again at 2nd and 10. By 3 and 10 I had to kick it away. After that third quater the time moved from 15:00 to 13:03. Not sure if this is normal to have or did anyone else have this problem?

How about posting a screenshot of thise problem? I am very curious as too how this looks.

Also, keep in mind that your 0 of 32 completion odds may have a LOT to do with your Playbooks and Plays you are using. I don't even use Stock Plays anymore and design my own.

In the screen shot the ball is right on the goal line. Does the ball bounce in the field of play and then into the endzone? Or does it bounce in the endzone and then back out onto the field of play?

The ball bouce in the field of play and then it rolls towards the goalline and sometimes it will do that on the field of play between 40 yards to 10 yards in the zone. So I guess there is some fixing to do with that 3 and 10 when punting the ball. I hope that helped.

Better fumbles and interceptions but...here is another screenshot when I was BC leading 20-0 in the second quater when the computer Edmonton team decided to kick 3 and 12 and I could not get the ball because it landed on the 15 yard line before it bubbled down to the end zone. Same thing happened again. I hope I have helped. Any questions David you can email me or drop a line. I hope this matter can be fixed because I have to restart the game when this happens.

Are you sure there is nothing special about your league? You don't have any other rules settings changed? I ran 100 (yes, 100) punt situations with the default leagues and default settings for each league on Saturday and didn't see this problem once.

Well first of all I am using quick game on the main menu and then I select the teams so I took Vancouver and Edmonton team. Then I went to use Canadian rules in the settings that says using American rules that would be the only change I made.

In the quick game mode, may I suggest you play one team controlled in arcade mode using game pad and then play for the first quater you will notice that the computer controlled team will punt 3 and 12 or 3 and 1 even. Everytime that play the computer punts the ball deep in my zone. I will either catch it or the ball will bounce close to the goaline. But what is frustrating is that I could never finished the game more importantly I could never finished the first half of any MF game.

If you use the game pad and CFL rules and use the patch that is updated, you will find that the there are problems with 3 and 12 or 3 and 1 whe the computer punts it. It does not foul up when I punt the ball 3 and 10 to the computer team. So if you are using your mouse or keyboard as a human controller maybe you will not find the error I am getting. If you are using a league mode then that might be different as I have not tried playing in the league yet because I want to make sure there are no bugs in the game. There is nothing wrong with my computer as I have checked all the drivers, graphics and everything that meets the MF requirements to run the game.

Okay.. didn't know you were using the game pad. I'll see what's going on with that then. Does it do it in coaching mode?

No. Coaching mode seems fine to me so far as I only coached two games using that mode. Make sure you select "Quick Play" mode because that is where I am having problems. Also I don't know if the same problem will occur in a league mode as I have not tried playing in the league yet.
