I started my second CHS scenario (extended map) against the AI playing Japan. I'm still trying to handle the Malaya evacuation right, so I cut it off after a week or so. Two strange things happened:
1. The KB stayed at Hawaii for a second day. I lost a DD division and a CA.
2. Kuching fell in North Borneo on 14 December after two days of fighting, and on 15 December, the AI flew in all its long range VT assets from Saigon and conducted a mass attack on my battlefleet in Batavia. Now I know, it's just a game, but this is science fantasy.
