Tank oriented?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Tank oriented?

Post by wodin »

Judging by the screenshots so far (and going by the actual name of the game and campaign) it appears the the focus of the game is tank battles. Is this a correct assumption?

If so this may leave me with doubts about whether to buy. Im more into infantry combat with maybe a few tanks as support.

wodin,

The campaign is pretty tank-focused because the forces involved were pretty tank-focused. The game itself can handle both and there are scenarios in there with a fair amount of infantry (but always some tanks as well). I think it's fair to say that the focus of this release is tank-heavy because of the campaign, but we are not aiming to give infantry short shrift in terms of the game model.

Regards,
