Trying to edit a campaign scenario

How would one go about doing this?

I THINK you have to copy the campaign scenario you want to edit, let's say on yr desktop; then rename the files as "scenxxx", where xxx is a free slot in yr scenarios list.
Then you make a cut/paste of these renamed files into the scenario folder, then you open the editor and look for that specific scenario slot.
click on it and voilà!

what campaign? I am doing Long road to vic and have first four battles done/corrected. It is on freeze as I am working on LV...
