Chickamauga ?

Post by Hentzau »

Noticed this anouncement http://www.gamespot.com/news/6135508.html which mentions Chickamauga at the beginning, but then leaves it off the list of included games. Did Matrix acquire Battleground 9 Chickamauga, or was it not owned by Talonsoft or something?

Now that Matrix Games owns the series will Tiller's newer games benefit from a graphics improvement via some sort of friendly arrangement?

That's a nice thought, but I'd guess Tiller has any interest in graphical enhancements for his games.

As for Chickamauga, I seem to recall that Take 2 published it after they bought Talonsoft. I don't know if it would be covered.

I DO recall getting my butt kicked by the rebels in it though. :)

In any case, Chickamauga was the only original game to be released as 32 bit, so it is reasonably up to date as it stands and doesn't require the application of all the patches required to play the earlier BG titles.

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(

Yes, we have Chickamauga and it will be included in the Battleground Civil War bundle.
