yea, the tail unit is wrong for a MS 406

it is too ugly to be a early Yak :)

It isn't Russian either... But it did reasonably well against Bf109s...

It is an Ikarus IK-3, also called Rogozarski IK-3. It is a Yugoslav design that was just entering service when the Germans invaded. Only 12 were available during the attack and of those 6 were in flying condition...

I am not sure why anyone would want to name an aircraft company after Ikarus...
