Run5 has two new scenarios on the Eastern Front available now for SSG's Battles in Italy.

Operation Typhoon is the new battleset taking place between Smolensk & Moscow (Oct-Nov 1941). The scenario is a work of art from scenario designer extraordinaire Brubaker. The battle is intended to produce a historically accurate challenge for the German commander. Supply and troop strength are limited and General Mud is about to issue orders of his own! The game features excellent AI play and looks & feels like the ATD battle. So if you've been looking for ATD updated to the top of the line BII engine... here it is!

On to Moscow! is a 48 turn expansion campaign scenario to Opn Typhoon. In addition to being a 16 turns longer, it adds three PanzerKorps to the OOB (one in reserve, two as alert units that arrive based on German progress) and allows for a strong Russian counterattack (provided the Russian commander can perserve the necessary forces!).

The initial task of the German commander is to encircle 5+ Russian Armies. Key location for doing this is Vyazma.
