DONMVP, could you please help me out with the layers you used to do the white socks with the red and black stripes. That is exactly what I'm trying to do for my first uniform (my high school) and it is really kicking my butt.

Looking good.

I have heard Hamilton is going to have a 3rd jersey and a 2nd helmet this year. I hope is a yellow helmet. I also hope the Argos get a 2nd helmet and use the boat logo, reminds me of being a kid.

If you are using PSP or Photoshop, just choose add new raster layer and use the paint brush or line tool to draw in the striping. Heck, since there is little shading involved on the sock region, you can even get away with using the paint brush and drawing in the stripes on the merged bmp if you like.

P.S. Great work once again Don & Gman!

I did`nt do anything special on the socks Firebird . I used a basic uniform pants from fbmax that had white socks . Then i used either the bursh or pen , and very carefullt drawed them on one pair of pants . Then i just flipped or reversed the pants from U1 TO U0 so they matched both sides . Found i had to redo them at lease 3 times to get exact width and stuff . Hope that helps .

redwolf1 and DONMVP, thanks for the info. I'm very familiar with the layers concept due to my profession. The templetes appear to be very complete and I assumed there would be an existing layer for that style of stripes but I couldn't find it. I sure do appreciate your patience with my simple questions. I'm using The Gimp and hopefully I'll get it figured out. Take care and thanks again.
