Still an issue

This has yet to be addressed in a patch, and I just wanted to get some feedback on what may be in the works to correct it. I am talking about the resetting of depth charts when an injury occurs. Very frusterating.

The game has made great strides, and I see this as one of the last big gameplay issues. I was just curious if there is a fix coming?

thanks, that answers my question about why the depth chart was changing, but it is a major problem. I also wondered why there are not different positions for defensive ends and tackles, and why safeties are not considered, would like to see that as a change, that way the number 3 cornerback would come in on an injury for example.

I hate to see my defensive tackles moving to end when an injury occurs.

The Safties and Cornerbacks not being seperated into there own Postion catagory might be on design. I don't know about Canadian Football, but I know that in Indoor Football (I guess Arena Football aswell) Safties and Cornerbacks are more "loosely" substituted then in American Outdoor Football. For example, because Indoor Football Rosters are so small, many DB's sometimes play both the Safty Position and sometimes Corner depending on play. Its not as "structured" as it is in the NFL or College Football. And in Arena Football, there really isn't a "Safty" per say in most of the Defensive Plays as all DB's are usually playing Man too Man. There is a Corner Position in Arena Football, but again it not always a "structured" position like in American Outdoor Football.

I think for simplicity sake, David probably just made all DB's capable of substituting to Safty or Corner postion depending on User Preferences.
