madrid invulnerable

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

madrid invulnerable

Post by Treefrog »

When Spain is neutral to me, my diplomats cannot enter Madrid.
When Spain is my enemy, my military units cannot enter Madrid.

What gives?

Sarge,
I don't know that a screen shot would show anything, even if I knew how to do that.

Basically, my units are next door at in the province just north of Madrid. The green movement arrow won't go into the Tagus/Madrid province at all, at all for either diplomats or military units. Thinking the Somosierra Pass might be invulnerable, I tried moving them southeast around to enter thru Estramadera, but the green arrow wouldn't go that way either.[&:]

I'm using the most recent patch.

Thanks for your interest.

Okay, I forgot my meds, sorry.

Madrid is in New Castille. duh. I thought it was in the province of Tagus, which we all know is a river. Oops.
