ammunition data. Soviets clearly outproduced the Germans in Rockets and Mortar rounds.

The german 21 cm is actually different than the 15 cm rocket in its warhead design. The 15 cm had a thin walled HE section in the back of the projectile and the rocket motor is up front. The 21 cm has the warhead up front. It also has a thicker walled construction and would be menace. I read an account of a US tank destroyer platoon that came under NW fire and the results were devastating. I could only assume it was not a 15 cm which were reported to be blast weapons of sort.
