MODS?????

John Tiller's Battleground Series is a Hall of Fame lineup of games covering the Civil War and Napoleonic Wars. We've compiled these classic games into two new affordable collections, incorporating updated versions of these legendary titles. Incredible historical gameplay and great value!

MODS?????

Post by m10bob »

AOS was a lot of fun, and I hope it is released with upgrades of land, mines, fireships, etc.
That said, I (and a lot of others) would also be interested in "modules" to portray American Civil War Ironclads and riverines,etc.).
If the game engine can do that, no reason other graphic mods could not be done to replicate ancient Triremes, etc !!!!
Love the thought of maybe going to war with pre-Dreadnought steam, circa 1880's-1910 era, (say, Spanish American war/Russo-Japanese war??)
Maybe the entire game could be packaged as some sort of wargamers naval construction set??

Yaquinto {game company that produced the game Ironclads} produced Ironclads expansion that covered till 1880 I think. Ironclads was a great game.

I would love a refurbished AOS with Ironclads or even with Ironclads as a later expansion.

At the moment we're still clearing room for this on our schedule. This one is last in line at present, so once you see some of the other Talonsoft Series titles hit our store, we'll have a chance to move this forward to re-release.

Excellent suggestion. Market the game engine and let the modders go at it.

Ugh!!..this is one thing about Matrix that really frustrates me...it's like you guys have ADD or something...lol.. You keep announcing new projects that stretches your staff to the point where either we don't see a game for years or in some cases never. Even when it's other makers games you guys still have to help..so why bother new announcing games..concentrate on what you already have...very frustrating...That being said..move Age of Sail to the top of the list....lol..it will get more sails (get it..lol)..then the other Talonsoft titles you have...there are now medications for ADD, please look into them..lol.

From someone who has played Wooden Ships and Iron Men, Ironclads and then gone on to use Valiant Miniatures 1:2000 scale ships to play Ship O' the Line rules, I will buy this game also.
For what we are about to receive, may we be truly thankful.

Well, I have to agree with Eric that this title isn't the hottest one in the Talonsoft catalog, but it will come... eventually... and I will buy it. [:)]

In the meantime, I'm eager for the BG series now that TOAW III is out.

The backlog is clearing... I think things will be moving a bit faster now. Maybe AOS will be here for Christmas?

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(
