Unexpected Error

Post by JudgeDredd »

Hi puresimmer

I was at the bottom of the 4th when I got this error message

Puresim Baseball 2007
Unexpected Error: -2005530520
Image

When I clicked on OK, the screen stayed blue. I then went to close the game by clicking on the close window X and was asked to finish the game before exiting. The game screen then became normal again (not blue) but there were no play options.

I then edned up with this screen

As you can see, I cannot make any plays or progress the game. Also,I clicked on Autocomplete to complete up to the 7th just to see if that made any difference, but it didn't...

I can, however, click on the players names and the player cards show.

Anyway, had to CTRL-ALT-DEL to end the task.

Hmm. That looks to be DirectX releated.

Is there any way you can duplicate it, or was it a one-time thing? What OS are you running (it looks to be Windows 2000)

You may want to try getting the latest sound drivers for your sound card and getting the latest version of DirectX (If you don't have it already)

I'll check sound drivers and directx and post here again if I ever gett he same.

ThxJust to update you....I have updated my sound drivers and directx. If this happens again, I will let you know.

Thx for a great game, puresimmer

If this happens again, please post a DxDiag file for us. Thanks.
