Any way to supply troops at sea?

I’m taking ridicules attrition losses while moving my army around as the United Kingdom. Is there any way of supplying troops on ships?

Surely sea powers can do sea supply somehow? How about supplying invasions from the sea?

Yes you certainly can do supply at sea. Just click in the sea area and add a depot. So make a line of depots that cover your route each turn, and delete them when you are past them.

Playing Britain without this tip must be hell!! Hehe.

It rather is yes. How to you build a depot at sea. Can’t seem to select a sea area for the purposes of building depots even if there is a pre-existing fleet there. Any other requirements?
