Hi,

Just looking into this game and I wonder if there is any acrade mode to play agaist the computer?

Nope, this is not even close to an arcade game.

You can play it against the computer, yes. It doesn't have to be multi-player!

However, this game is about stepping into the role of the GM - making roster moves over many seasons - or the Manager, making roster moves within a single season and 'calling the plays' within an individual games.

You do not ever control an individual player in the classic 'arcade game' style - if that's what appeals to you, I think you'd want the EA Sports title.

Also, because of the focus on season-after-season play, you can't play "just" an individual game or an individual series - e.g., you can't say, "Hey I want to play the 1999 Yankees against the 1973 Reds" - and just play that as a single game. You could create a season with, say, 8 teams, and put the 1999 Yankees and the 1973 Reds into that season, along with the 1936 Yankees, the 2005 Cardinals, the 1908 Dodgers, etc.
