1998 Through 2071 Almanac

Post by rmayer32 »

Been running the heck out of this thing to get a hundred years of history or so and am getting close to it now finally. :)

For those interested in taking a peek, it's uploaded here on my site

I just started with a 1998 replay, and haven't applied any beta patches thus the reason for starting in 98 to have all teams accounted for. Only thing I changed was the Expos to Nationals prior to the 05 season.

Must say though Shawn, great game and this is an excellent feature! [&o]

Pujols the All time Home Run Leader...Hmmm...That is not too hard to believe! A-Rod with 724 sounds about right too. I do not think he is going to have enough incentive to make a real run at Aaron because he makes too darn much $$$ to worry too much about it. 20 guys with 3000 hits and 6 300 game winners...good stuff!
The Brewers Will make the Playoffs in 2006!

Yeah.. Nothing really has stuck out at me as being too unrealistic as of yet .. This association is mostly just for the heck of it but once I get time, I will fire up and start the real historical replay and see how that one goes. :D

And those 724 HRs was since 1998. He had already hit some home runs before this association started so his "true" career total was probably close to 800.

Also interesting was that he played in AAA for a little bit in 2001. That is odd.

Brewerfan, considering Arod is also a real estate titan in florida
i think he wants to play as long as he can to continue to make money.

How did homeruns look in year 15 or so? Seriously. I'm hoping and praying that they didn't leap like Carl Lewis on a windy day.

I just finished a 15 year auto sim starting with 2005 MLB rosters and the leader in 2020 had 45 HRs. The highest season by any fictional player has been 47. The highest single season in my career was Derek Lee with 61 in 2005 and the next highest was 56 by Pujols twice and Dunn twice.

The stadiums were the generic team stadiums, but not the Avg Park setting.
