World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

First of all, sorry for my bad english (I'm Italian and I studied French).
I've a question: in MWIF will be an EDITOR as in CWIF?

No.

That was my very first decision, which I made during my first week on the project (July, 2005).

Getting the game released is a hard enough problem. Adding a WIF design kit was not part of my task list/contract.

Too bad there isn't one for the map [:D].
Units are easy to modify using the CSV files, but I fear the map is a nightmare to modify using those CSV files.

Will you provide the database structure of those CSV files, for the ones who are courageous enough to modify them (to add their city of birth on the map for example [:D])

Oh yeah, I will document the CSV files for both the units and the map (which includes the countries and their various political relationships).

It was not my intention to make modifying the map easy for the players. Not something I worried about at all, actually.

The convoluted structure of the different CSV files for the map, countries, and units is mostly dictated by the WIF game design. If I were starting from scratch on MWIF, I might be able to simplify it slightly - but not a lot. Any complaints about the map files' complexity should be directed towards the designers of WIF, not this humble follower trying to implement the computer version.
