computer illiterate person

Post by AirGriff »

I have a desktop and laptop. Is it a big deal to play a PBEM using both computers? In other words, I'll do a turn on one and then the next turn on another computer. I don't want to get into any synch problem. Thanks.

no not at all, I do it all the time between three computers, The bigest problem is remembring which machine you did your last turn on in case you have to resend a turn

For $30 get a travel drive and transfer the save files between computers as you need to.

Since I have dial up at home and cable at work I frequently download the files to my work computer and put them onto my travel drive.  When I get home I put them onto my home PC and run the turn.

just make sure your version of WitP is the same for all machines or the Allied player  might suffer an out of sync in the combat replay. (different combat results from Japan player)
