official update has mostly errata fixes and a couple adjustments here and there. There's also a new beta for GC and scn42A which features a major change in A2A.

It all be in the FAQ's. [:)]

Hey Nik, any chance of you adding LST-66? She earned 9 battle stars and a Navy Unit Commendation. More importantly, my Uncle served aboard her for the whole war and survived the kamikaze hit on her.[:D]

Here's a tiny exerpt to give you an idea of when she should arrive:

On May 21, 1943, she sailed from New Orleans for Brisbane, Australia via the Panama Canal, arriving there August 1, 1943 and being assigned to LST Flotilla 7, Seventh Fleet on October 10, 1943. Her first mission was the support landing at Finschafen, New Guinea, on October 25, 1943. She was in the landing at Lee, New Guinea, on December 7, 1943, and at Cape Gloucester, New Britain on December 26, 1943.

Mike, I am not sure if you are aware of this, but LST-66 is included in CHS.

I started to do a comprehensive review of the LSTs after reading your previous request for the inclusion of LST-66, and found out, as others have, that the LST list is a bit of a mess. I have corrected all LST data up to LST-200 or so, but I then gave up as it was all too time consuming. Others are also working on a comprehensive review, though, or have already completed one, so eventually the entire list should be able to be corrected.

Busy...yes. The tragedy of having only 24 hours in a day is that it severely compromises one's ability to waste time promoting world peace through superior firepower. [;)]

I'm very interested in feedback on the beta so let me know.

yep....i'm a realistic losses fanboy....especially when large #'s of fighters come to the party on a sweep. [:'(]

In all seriousness though, i've gotten one report that suggest that the Ki-43 and possibly the Zero will need a tweak to remain competetive. Not unexpected. The change made has so far looked good for 2nd generation aircraft with high firepower and good/decent protection but i was concerned about another 4.0 repeat in the case of the before-mentioned aircraft. (then again thats why its a beta)

Which map?
6.1 or 6.2?
I haven't seen the 6.2 retrofit posted anywhere yet.[:)]

6.2. But they are effectively the same. There is only a graphical fix added to 6.2

I haven't finished uploading the 6.2 maps yet. They should be available soon.

Great work with A2A combat, Nik. I myself prefer to try to tweak aircraft firepower, since it doesn't need AA etc. to be tweaked. But more power to you if you want to use more effort. [8D] Just started your 6.0Beta 42A campaign. Looks good so far.
