Okay, for those of you who want to play immediately:

You will find two quick aids:

(1) The XLS (Excel spreadsheet) I did with info on all the scenarios like duration, number of units, number of objectives, ... It was used to prepare the table in the manual, but, of course, if you have Excel, than this one is easily sortable.

(2) A two page mouse/keyboard (USA kybd) guide which I use for playing COTA. Format is Microsoft Word. {FYI - Some of the key strokes were changed from HTTR.}

Neither of the above are official documents supported by PG or Matrix, but you might find them useful, if you are not going to look at any docs until you have played COTA to the point of exhaustion.

If you are inclined to read only briefly, then I recommend the Getting Started Manual, pages 14-18, which introduces the changes/enhancements compared to HTTR.

Or you can look in the program group created by the installer for a separate "What's New" PDF which I believe is the same as pages 14-18.

After looking through the keyboard shortcuts you will immediately notice that the letter "N" is not used!

What a key with no known function!

So...who can come up with a useful, or not so useful, purpose for this key?

You know...I've just read through the scenario list and I have to say...they are named very well. It gives them a kind of "story" feel. Good, descriptive, enticing names those. Well done whoever had that job.

I modified the XLS sheet to take into account the complexity and rating computing in Annex F of the Manual, as well as the start date of each scenario. In case some would like to play them in the order of their start time.
