Maybe I should sign up and win a few while everyone's still new to it and then go into retirement until the next game is released? :)

Here is a dirty trick for you.

When Dave issues the 3126 Debug Version of COTA for the Beta Team, I could play MP with the debug version and turn on the "Full Staff Support Option" (meaning AI takes over) only available in the debug version and let the AI play the game for me. That might save my bacon! :)

Well...I heard a rumour that Dave has put in a little "AI opt out clause" which means that perticular feature performs particularly badly should it detect Markshot as the player.

Now, I don't know how Dave did it...but we all know he is God...so he must've done it!!

Anyway...my install has completed. I need to go and fight some Greek battles

Thanks for the game, loyalcitizen.
Ha! First time I've played COTA online (never played HttR online). Sorry, I should've picked Allies, man. The map wasn't a top choice for a MP game, I figured that a bit late.

Seeing your motorised troops moving around so much reminded me why I always play with Painfully Realistic orders delay. It was fun, but my foot troops were steamrolled! Thanks for the game.

Well, painf.real. delay grants some time for making plans and predictions, dunno if max delay would've saved ya. [;)]
