Please explain...

There are supply related messages that state that the supply transport from so and so unit to so and so base has been reduced (or something) by some percentage.
I don't understand what this means. Seems like it should say just the opposite, that the trnsport from the base to the unit was damaged or distroyed. Couldn't find and explanation in the manual. Thanks.

Actually, in the manual p. 164 it says:

If there is insufficient supplies to meet all current requirements or there is insufficient handling capacity ( ie the ability to load the supplies on the trucks ) then a Depot may ration or limit the amounts it dispatches to its drawing units. When this occurs each request will only receive a proportion of its requirements. Emergency requests will get a greater proportion than routine requests.

So I guess that might have been your problem. The depot simply decided to cut a portion of the original request of the unit considering it also had to supply other units, emergency requests, keep enough on hand for the rest of the day, etc.

From my experience me thinks thats units (the ones reduced) whose supply lines are a little dicey!
