Now I know why Japanese players feel that the F4U Corsair too powerful in WitP.

Here is a photo of one that came to grief on the flight deck of the CVE Long Island...

You are confused... as clearly stated in another thread, x-wings UPGRADE to Corsairs...

You can definately see that it was a landing gear failure from this angle.

this was actually a common occurence early in the war, similar to dud torps...it turns out that the R2D2 units used on these were manufactured in Japan before the war and were hard to replace...

Well, graphics-wise it's ready. Cobra produced sides and tops for the other thread this pic was posted to. Now somebody just has to come up with some data.
