Pure Sim BB2007 Install Problem

[&:] I cannot install the game. I have tried both the digital download and the CD. The install hangs & the does not respond on:

PureSimBaseball2007\mods\Addins\NET\dao.dll

Any suggestions or anyone had similar problem

Hmm, that's odd. Have you tried installing it in safe mode (just made sure you don't play it until you reboot)?

1. Re-boot
2. Close all applications (including stuff you have ruinning on the tray) and virus scanners
3. This is a file from Microsoft, so you may want to try manually installing it from the latest Microsoft patch. You can find the install from Microsoft appropriate for your machine here:

4. Try re-installing PS

I have the exact same problem.

The install hangs on dao.dll; no way to get past this.

Closed all programs in tray; tried to update the Jet database engine (with the install telling me I'm running a new version of the SP than is available on the MS link given here).

Any other suggestions to install the game I just purchased??
