Gone Gold?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Perhaps now we can see some tantalizing screenshots from the final version? Or a beta AAR from head-to-head PBEM play? Pretty please? :)

Unfortunately I'll have to wait on NWS to get it so I can get the boxed/CD version. I have dialup and it just takes too long to download anything from anywhere though I might try this DSL from Yahoo/ATT soon since they are offering a $12.99 a month program. How fast is DSL vs Cable? How much faster is it vs Dialup? I don't mind waiting though really. I'm not some 20 year old kid anymore that just has to have something the day it is released. Hell I'm 99.9% sure it's gonna need a patch right out of the box. lol So, by the time I get it there should be a patch eh? ;)
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

By the way, we expect both digital and physical (boxed) options to be available on the June 29th release, so no waiting for the boxed copies this time.

Absolutely go for DSL or Cable. The comparison between the two varies depending on the service, but they're in the same ballpark. As for vs. Dialup, it's absolutely night and day. You will wonder how the heck you ever managed with Dialup after a week on DSL or Cable.

Well cable is just too expensive for just gaming and I've said it before only reason I really have internet connections anyways are for the blasted PATCHES every game needs and has. Ain't like the old days where you could call the publishers up on the phone and fix the problems over the phone. ;) I'll look into DSL though $12.99 is a decent price I guess for patches a month....no matter how you slice it we all still pay for patching in some form or fashion.
