Civil War scenarios

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Civil War scenarios

Just got game and am wandering about - thanks Matrix for bringing a classic back out fresh - I am wondering if there are any more than the two Civil War scenarios I see? Thanks for any info.

No, there is only the Gettysburg Campaign available with TOAW 3. The reason there aren't more is that TOAW 3 works best with 20th century warfare.

Fidel - There are a number of scenarios modeling a modern American Civil War already. See the Classic TOAW scenario US Civil War 2008 by Trey Marshall.

I'd definately concur with you on that one, I go there once in a while to observe, more out of morbid curiousity than anything. Sometimes it makes me glad I reside on this side of the imaginary line at the 49th paralell [:D]
