CHS 1 or 2 Jap players wanted

Post by jwxspoon »

OK, my partner and I now have 2 PBEM games as allied and 1 as Japanese going... and we keep running out of turns to do. So we're looking for 1 or 2 opponents to handle a new game with the latest CHS. House rules are negotiable. We'd like some experienced opponents.

We're consistent and average 1 turn a day during the week and sometimes as much as 3 during the weekend. We want opponents that don't slow donw if they start getting their asses kicked. We won't.

We'll accept 1 or 2 Japanese oppoents.

Email me at jeff@jwxspoon.com or PM me. OR answer here. Whichever you choose. We may or may not post an AAR, depending if the game is interesting enough. :)

OK We'll try this again.

What I'm finding is that PBEM opponents love to play until they suffer their first 1 or 2 defeats.  Then turns get scarce and some opponents even begin to ask to restart, etc.

I'm looking for 1 or 2 dedicated, long term opponents.  Thomas and I return a turn every day, even though we are separated by 6 time zones.  I expect no less from a single opponent.  If you are japanese and you get an early defeat, you KEEP ON PLAYING.  We will do the same.

I fail to understand the mentality of starting a game that takes years to play and then quitting when you lose a battle.  It's war!  This game will take years to play.  You don't know what twists and turns a game will take over it's course.  But you WILL suffer defeats even if it is just that you are unlucky.

OK, rant over.  But I'm looking for good, solid, experienced, dependable opponents who can take it as well as dish it out.

:)

Hey Scott,

CHS is an easy (albeit lengthy) install, but well worth it.  Why don't you email me at jeff@jwxspoon.com and we'll talk settinfgs, installs, rules, etc. and see if this is a good fit.

Thanks,
