Cant store food

Hi,

I patched the game to the latest patch (1.2.18) and noticed that human players cant store food at all whilst the AI has up to 350+ food in their stocks. Even when i put all provinces on food production ..there is nothing left in the following turn.

I couldnt find a remark in the Readme that this is intendet to hamper the human players so it seems to be a bug.....playtested this with several nations.

My experience is that you CAN store food, but not that much. Also, after you produce an excess, you don't want to be spending it on upgrades (like farms and so on). Unless you do.

For me it seems you can´t. Even when i set all provinces to food production you produce 200 for example ...the pop is reducing that by their needs maybe the military is using some too...leaving you with 100 .....and in the next round the 100 are vanished and you only have again the difference between production and ppl´s needs.

So when you produce all products balanced with only a small food overproduction (+10-+30) you end up with no possiblity to extend your farms greater than approximate 5 lvls. IMO thats odd as there is even no picture for food storage at the bottom of the screen. When checking national statistics i can see the AI having stored at least 300 food. [&:]
