entrenchments

Post by Mist »

Could you please tell me, will linear/square root formula be applied for assault losses calculations depending on entrenchment in future release? It could make even camp'44 more playable. Units entrench pretty quick to level 6, but losses inflicted by attacker make it almost senseless. There was an idea in forum to make it harder to entrench but give to defender more benefits of being in trenches.

Thanx

This is from the readme of the latest version Arnaud sent to the testers:

"Fortifications and natural terrain provide better protection to defending infantry"

He doesn't say exactly what he did.

I am absolutely sure that square root formula is applied for artilery bombardment losses in current version and it is easy to test assault/AT losses using ingame editor.
