Question after purchase

Post by rowech »

Can I delete the zip file from my hard drive and still be able to re-download at a later date if I get a new computer? Just thinking as far as saving hard drive space.

Yes, you can go to store, then "check order".  It asks you for your email and password, and gives you another link to d/l.

I believe I remember reading that you could only download again up to 30 days after purchase. I would strongly suggest that you burn the download to CD.

Well, that stinks if that's the case.  Thanks though.

It's not true. You'll be able to download it for as long as it exists.

Still, it would make sense to take that backup of your games into your own hands and create a safe copy of it yourself, no?

If you are talking about your actual associations yes. As for the zip file which contains the game if you've got an easy way to do it - it won't hurt - but I doubt it's necessary.
