1st time PBEM player looking for opponent

Post by stldiver »

Hello,

I have played WarGames since the 70's, mainly Avalon Hill, SPI. I found WITP a month and half ago and fell in love. After playing the Allies vs Computer for 8 months game time and the japanese for 2 months I can't wait any longer to play a PBEM.

I am a dedicated opponent and expect to be taught how this game can really be played (albiet not a bad opponent, I learn quickly). Preference is for Allies v 1.801, (I haven't play Japan long enough to be a good opponent and I have seen the Allies are a little more forgiving).

I have read most of the forum, AAR's so I have a good start. As for house rules, you tell me your preference and I will probably go for it.

Even though I am a family man, I travel for work, so there is plenty of time for me to play at night, or early morning. US CST, is the zone if thats important.

Thanks I look forward to a good game.

Hello:

I also have never usedPBEM. I have played extensively as Japan vs the computer, I would be very interested in a game. Please let me know. Thanks.

I sent you and email. Only inital rule I can see always covered is the 6 max ASW forces. Go ahead and make you first move and email to me.

I have no problems adjusting to rules, not sure what is considered gamey but if you have a list let me know.

Thanks
