Western Air Groups Garrrison

All knows you can draw all air groups from Western fronts, use it in Russia and put infantry divisions in its place to meet the required strength.
Its not too much historical! so why dont meet a minimum air group garrison? I cant imagine the Afrika Korps fighting with no aircraft.
Suggestions?

you should be able but it should really hurt strength. When Fliegerkorps X went from italy to Eastern front malta grew strong again and axis lost a lot of cargo for africa

Yes, I Know but Im speaking in long terms.Would be possible for the Afrika Korps fight with no aircraft till 43? I think the commonwealth forces had won the war in Africa early.

This has been an item of discussion, and Arnaud wants to do something about it. Don't know what the final results will be, but there should eventually be something done about it. I would guess it will be similar to what is done with armored units, along with cleaning up the armored unit check to make more sense.

In a game against Lorenzo we have garrisoned the western fronts. In the West front there are 3 fighter air groups (over 250 planes) and in the Sud Front 2 fighters, 1 fighter-bomber, 1 Stuka, 1 Ju-88 (or any) and 1 italian bomber (over 500 planes). I know this is not exactly but...

Without fighters the divisions in West and Italy should experience severe attrition. A percentage factor dependant on the numbers of fighters stationed could be worked out.
